This Phrase Helped My Toddler To Talk More!

Hi Friends! Wanted to share a quick tip if you’re looking to get your toddler to talk more. As you may know my oldest son Isaiah was diagnosed with a speech delay at 18 months old. He is now currently 27 months old and has learned so many words through the help of speech therapy and the efforts we have made at home. I recently discovered a phrase that always keeps him chatting with me and wanted to share!

Next time when your playing with your toddler and they point to something or say a word you may not be sure of say: “Show Me!” More than likely they’ll be more than happy to say it again, demonstrate an action or maybe even point giving you more clues on what they need. Don’t forget to get down on their level and make that eye contact when you‘re communicating! This has helped with Isaiah so much, I hope it helps you too!
