My Toddler And Preschooler’s January Toy Favorites!

Hi Friends! Today I’m sharing the boys favorite toys for January! Very excited to be bringing you all a toy favorites blog every month to give you all some inspiration and ideas for toys as well as having a fun way for me to keep track of the boys interests over time. For reference my kiddos are 3 & 1 so they usually play with the same things and have very similar point of interests.

This month the boys have been into three main toys the first one being their dinosaurs! We’ve had these Dino figures (pictured above) for a while but all of a sudden the boys are really into them now thanks to the 10 Little Dinosaur song from cocomelon. My oldest loves to act out the songs! You can definitely find figures like these on Amazon but we got ours from target and the dollar tree. Such a steal if you can find them there! They are so sturdy and have held up over the months.

The second toy favorite of the month is the boys Leap Frog Laptop 2 in 1 Laptop that they have been absolutely OBSESSED with! This was a Christmas gift and it has been used just about every day! It has music and can assist with number and letter recognition. I didn’t think they would have liked it as much as they do but so far so good!

The last toy favorite are the boys leap builder blocks! Another Christmas gift that has been keeping them so engaged. We originally had Mega Bloks but Isaiah has been playing with that style of blocks for a while and I could tell he was getting bored. Surprisingly Zeke never took to the Mega Bloks either so I found these leap builder blocks from leap frog and they have so much fun with them. They have different styles and sets and we ended up going with the Blues Clues ones because blues clues is LIFE right now for them!

I love how it builds fine motor skills in a fun way and the blocks are not to small to step on and easy to put together. The bright colors also helps build color recognition and introduction to patterns and sequencing.
