Hi Friends! Today I wanted to chat about routines and some changes we‘ve made as a family recently over this past month. As some of you may know I doubled my work hours and now spend 80% of my week outside my home as a nanny to families in my community. I love my job and what I do as a childcare provider but I knew with working more I was going to have to run a very tight ship within my own home. My husband and I are the main caretakers for the boys and as much as I wish we could hire help, in an effort to boost our savings we are working opposite days so one of us is with both of the boys. With Isaiah’s therapy and homeschool starting as well as having TWO toddlers running around I had to put some new routines in place to accommodate and keep my husband and I on the same page. I want to thank Ashley Brown, QUEEN of routines and her wonderful podcast “Routine And Things” that helped me get my family back on track. We have seen the benefits of having set routines in place. Our boys are happier and know what to expect, my husband and I are streamlined with communication and my home overall just feels at peace. Below are our new routines if you’re looking to revamp and need some inspiration. I hope this is helpful! (I provided time stamps but our routine is very flexible. The only thing that is set are the boys awake/sleep times)
