Hi Friends! I hope everyone had a fun Easter Sunday. Today I’m sharing what my family and I did to help prep for one of our favorite holidays!
Carrot Planting Sensory Play:
I used some old coffee beans and paper carrots to create a fun sensory play setup for Isaiah. This was a great tabletop activity that gave me some time to get dinner done and served. We chatted about bunnies and how carrots are grown. Will definitely do this again next year!

Jesus Rocked The Grave! Rock Painting Activity:
Easter is a remembrance of the resurrection and we wanted to make it special and practical for my two year old. I gathered a few rocks and pulled out the paint and we had a great time painting and listening to worship music. The rocks in this activity represent the stone that covered Jesus’s tomb and the crosses we painted represent how Jesus lives! I can see us doing this for years to come as part as our family Easter tradition.

Book To Read:
Usborne’s The Easter Story. Such a great kid friendly story about the life of Christ leading up to the crucifixion. My boys love this sweet story book and it made such a great Easter gift!
